ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
My Studies
My education history is what has led me here today. Interestingly enough, prior to being accepted into the Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing program, I had never heard of the role of an RPN. It didn't take too long to discover I had found myself in a great field, surrounded by like-minded individuals who shared my beliefs of equality in healthcare. After working for some time, I realized my education journey was nowhere near complete, that as a nurse you are constantly furthering your learning to best support and care for your patients.

Master of Health Studies (MHS), Athabasca University
Sept 2022- Present
Currently enrolled as a graduate student in the MHS program. I plan to specialize in the education pathway to pursue a career as a nursing instructor.

Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing, Kwantlen Polytechnic University (with distiction)
May 2013-Dec 2017
During my time as an under grad learner, I did a lot more than study the course work. This time period was substantial in shaping the person and nurse I have become today. The knowledge and experiences I encountered helped me in ways I could never fully appreciate until I was in the work force. KPU guided me academically, nourished my sense of self, and promoted my independence as a professional health care worker.
